July saw the completion of our new purpose built helipad at the Yanchep National Park. We are now situated at the top of Golf Course Road which is a picturesque 1.6km drive through the park past the Yanchep Inn.
The drive up the hill winds through the golf course under beautiful tall trees, please keep to 40km as there are often lots of Kangaroos grazing and meandering along the road. At the top of the hill we are set amongst native bushland with lovely views toward the coast.
Taking off from the helipad you are instantly above the tree tops and of course the views are breathtaking.
Our first day of flying from this location was Sunday 14th July. We were blessed with a stunningly warm winters day. Our first flight was snapped up by Patrick and his Grandsons Ryder and Archer who where enjoying the school holidays at the National Park.
Of course we must remember that it is still winter and we can't have beautiful days like this every Sunday... So if you book your flight and the weather is not forecast to be good we will offer you any future date to enjoy your flight. During this time of the year we will be there on sunny Sundays.
Once the weather becomes more predictable, as summer approaches, we will be operating every Sunday. Please call, text or email to enquire.
